The artist behind the paint.

Rebecca Mclean studied contemporary fine art at Forth Valley College, graduating in 2014.

After winning the Princes Trust business funding award, in 2015, Rebecca established a studio gallery close to her home village of Fintry, Stirlingshire, Scotland, where she displays her own and other local artists work.

From this base she paints in both acrylics and oil paints, painting predominantly land and seascapes of Scotland.

Rebecca is most inspired by the sky. ” I love the way the sky is never the same, constantly changing and surprising me with the amazing colours and textures it can produce. I can portray so many emotions and moods through the different shades that I choose, which when in relation to the sky are unlimited. It challenges me everyday and I love that about it.”

Rebecca also works to commission, collaborating with clients to produce individual peices to suit them. Her work can be viewed in various galleries across the country.
